What is mount precipice?

Mount Precipice is a hill located in the Lower Galilee region of Israel, just outside the city of Nazareth. It is also referred to as Mount of Precipitation and Mount Kedumim. The hill rises 1,722 feet above sea level and is located about 1.2 miles southwest of Nazareth.

Mount Precipice is believed to be the site where the people of Nazareth attempted to throw Jesus off a cliff after he read from the book of Isaiah in the synagogue, as described in Luke 4:29-30. Local tradition holds that the cliff from which Jesus miraculously escaped is located on the southern side of the hill.

Today, Mount Precipice is a popular tourist destination and offers stunning panoramic views of the Jezreel Valley and the surrounding hills. It is also considered a sacred site, and many pilgrims visit it to commemorate the events that took place there. The hill is also home to the Mount Precipice National Park, which offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and historical exhibits.
